We are releasing version 10.9 Phoenix CNC software for EDGE® Connect CNCs, to both the production line and the web site. This software release contains new feature enhancements and resolution to reported field issues.
Some key highlights of this release:
• Support for the new XPR170® X-Definition™ plasma.
• Improvements for XPR300® plasma support including;
o Cut chart data updates
o Error handling
• XPR True Bevel™ X-Bevel Support
• Updated cut charts for Powermax45® XP Duramax® Lock torch*
• Various software resolutions
* PMX45 cutting support only using discrete I/O control

In addition to the Phoenix Suite Installer release, updates have been made to the HTML Help file, cut charts and EDGE Connect Suite Installer. Please install these updates with the Phoenix 10.9 software. Files are available on Hypertherm.com for download and users can subscribe to notifications of future EDGE Connect software updates.
Software updates for EDGE Connect CNCs have an anticipated release at the end of each quarter. Additional interim releases are also possible based on critical field requirements. The next regularly planned version release (V10.10 Image 42) is scheduled for January 2019.
For optimal cutting machine performance, ProNest® 2019 users should ensure the use of the most recent maintenance update (v13.0.3), plus the enhanced machine parameters setup file.
Likewise, XPR & HPR® users should confirm that they are using the latest plasma system firmware.
