As a reminder, on 1 June 2023, Hypertherm Associates launched the CorePlus™ gas connect console for the XPR® cutting systems platform. Positioned between our current Core™ and VWI™ (Vented Water Injection) consoles, the CorePlus introduces argon gas capability for customers that mainly cut mild steel.

Update since June:
We just launched the CorePlus power, CAN, and 4-gas assembly (Lead) that was designed for specific use with the new CorePlus gas connect console. The CorePlus gas connect console will use the Core pilot arc and coolant hose set assembly (lead) and the VWI/Optimix power, CAN, and 5-gas assembly (lead). The lengths and part numbers for these new 4-gas leads appears in the table below:
