Hypertherm Associates has just launched the XPR® CorePlus™ gas connect console. Positioned between our current Core™ and VWI™ (Vented Water Injection) consoles, the CorePlus introduces argon gas capability for customers that mainly cut mild steel.
The CorePlus part number is 078662.
Argon gas delivers two valuable features:
• Argon marking – The ability to mark with argon significantly improves the quality of marks made with the XPR system.
• Enhanced piercing – With argon-assist technology, customers can pierce thicker mild steel at 170A and 300A compared with standard production pierce capacity.
Later in 2023, Hypertherm will launch a 4-gas lead assembly specific for the CorePlus gas connect console.
Updates and support:
• The Mechanized Configurator tool on X-Net has been updated
• Pricing for the CorePlus console can be found in the configurator and in the normal pricing area of the X-Net.
• Training for your associates will be available through your Hypertherm Associates sales manager and through the Hypertherm Cutting Institute.
