Important availability news on XPR Torch Connect Console

Due to a vendor stock-out of a critical-path component, we will be in a stop-production situation for XPR torch connect consoles as of today, 21 Jan 2020. However, we will be able to ship all other XPR system components and consumables. We will not have the ability to produce torch connect consoles for at least four weeks, although our procurement team is working to expedite earlier shipments from the supplier.

We realize this may result in a significant business disruption for you and that predictable deliveries are critical for managing your business. We will have a team visiting the supplier this Thursday to address the stock-out situation and discuss the supplier’s recovery plan. Currently, we expect to resume production on Feb 21, 2020. We are taking the following actions to communicate realistic delivery dates:

– For all open XPR torch connect consoles and full system orders please contact customer service for updated delivery information.
– New orders for XPR torch connect consoles and full system production lead times will be increased to six weeks.
– Your account manager will be contacting you to discuss your critical machine shipments and what we can do in the interim period to support these deliveries.

This is a temporary setback and our associates are committed to improving our delivery performance in support of your business. We are confident this will be a short-term disruption and we will update your Hypertherm Sales Support representative and account manager weekly on lead time and schedule status.
