Interim Phoenix 10.13.2 Release | EDGE® Connect CNC Software

Phoenix version 10.13.2 software release is available for EDGE Connect CNCs. Available to both the production line and via download on the Hypertherm.com website.

This is an unplanned interim release for EDGE Connect CNCs, to address a reported field issue discovered in all Phoenix version 10 software. For improved safety, all customers, should update their software to version 10.13.2 or higher.

Key highlights of this release:

• Resolved an issue where clicking or pushing on the very bottom edge of the Forward and Backup on Path soft keys could cause continued motion on path.

• Resolved an issue where motion continued if the operator dragged the cursor off of the Phoenix window before releasing a Jog or Forward/Backup on Path soft key.

Note: Clicking anywhere on the Phoenix screen, pushing any of the stop buttons, or pushing an
E-stop button stops motion in both of the cases mentioned above.

Please review the release notes document for important details regarding this software update, including resolutions provided and related installation procedures.

In addition to the Phoenix Suite Installer release, updates have been made to the HTML Help file, cut charts and EDGE Connect Suite Installer. If your CNC is already on version 10.13.0 Phoenix you do not need to update these files. Please install these updates only if you are on a version prior Phoenix version 10.13 software.

Software updates for EDGE Connect CNCs have an anticipated release at the end of each quarter. Additional interim releases are also possible based on critical field requirements. The next regularly planned version release (V10.14 Image 49) is scheduled for early January 2020.
