The Hypertherm Associates Software Group has released a new ProNest® 2023 version 15.1 update. New features and enhancements include:
• Production Manager enhancements for EDGE® Connect – Customers that have at least one ProNest Production Manager license can now launch the Production Manager web app on their EDGE Connect CNC. This allows operators to view a job queue, and load part programs directly from the Production Manager queue.
• Visualize slats – Using a DXF/DWG file, model slats from real-world cutting tables on the nest and in cut simulation to improve cut accuracy.
• Split bevel profiles enhancement – For bevel types that require multiple passes (Y, X, and K), a new “Split multi-pass bevels” setting is available to automatically split passes into separate profiles.
• Multiple Profile sequencing enhancements – Several new modes are available on the nesting screen to edit the cut sequence quickly.
Partners and end users with an active maintenance plan or software subscription can download the latest ProNest® offerings from the Hypertherm CAD/CAM Software Knowledge Base.
In addition, ProNest® LT subscriptions are now expanding to include support for waterjet machines. New software subscription tiers include:
• ProNest LT OMAX® which is specifically designed for OMAX machines and supports conventional straight cutting for OptiMAX®, OMAX®, MAXIEM®, and GlobalMAX®.
• ProNest LT Waterjet Plus is a more comprehensive subscription tier. It supports plasma, oxyfuel, and waterjet cutting all in one package. Furthermore, it supports conventional, straight cutting for any waterjet brand.
For all machines equipped with a bevel head, Hypertherm Associates still recommends ProNest, its advanced level software. ProNest supports bevel cutting for all waterjet brands with its advanced bevel interface.
With this product launch, all partners reselling ProNest and ProNest LT should now begin quoting the latest version immediately. Pricing of prior version software used with quotes previously issued to prospective customers will be honored for 30 days from the date the quote was originally issued, or 30 days from the date of this new software version launch – whichever is sooner.
