Change in freight charges

Every year Hypertherm checks if the guidelines for shipping and freight charges are in line with our policies, regulations and guidelines in the EMEIA region.

The global impact of the coronavirus, the disruption of global shipping supply chains, and now realistic increase in import demand at the back of the Brexit transition period; the subsequent agreement between the UK and the European Union as from January 1- 2021 has significantly impacted the cost of our operations.

To this extent Hypertherm is no longer able to absorb freight cost to the UK and Ireland. We made the strategic decision to bring the UK and the Republic of Ireland into alignment with all other countries where we supply goods, meaning all orders are now subject to freight charge and there is no longer free freight for orders above £1000. This change applies as of January 1, 2021.

We trust you understand our need to adapt to changing circumstances and we appreciate your support and partnership as we navigate these challenging times. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your Hypertherm sales representatives.
