Hypertherm recently changed the packaging for our Powermax65, 85, 105 and 125 systems to reduce size and weight while improving recyclability. Unfortunately, since making this change, some partners and customers have received shipments with damaged packaging. As a result, you will see the following changes made to all Powermax systems manufactured on or after December 10, 2020.
• Thicker packaging material for the Powermax65, 85, 105 and 125 and a stronger outer carton for the Powermax105 and 125.
• The addition of tape to the operator manual insert slot so people handling the package do not attempt to use the slot as a handle.
• The use of poly tape rather than reinforced paper tape.
• The addition of protective edge guards around pallets of Powermax105 and 125 systems.
