Effective September 30, 2019 service parts for HD3070 will no longer be available. A list of the discontinued items will be provided closer to the obsolescence date. Until then, please contact Hypertherm Customer Service to confirm part availability before committing to your end user.
Attached is the list of items to be discontinued. You will also find service parts for older HD1070, 2070 and 4070 systems on the list. While these systems have long been discontinued, service parts remained available due to the commonality of parts across HyDefinition systems. As HD3070 is the last system in the family to be discontinued, we plan to discontinue all remaining HyDefinition service parts effective September 30, 2019.
The obsolescence of HD3070 service parts can help facilitate upgrade opportunities for end users with older systems. End users cutting with HD3070 are possible candidates for upgrading to our new XPR170 power supply.
Please work with your Hypertherm sales manager to ensure that your customers affected by these changes are given adequate notice and options for upgrades.
