When we released the XPR170™ system last October, we announced that it would be replacing the HPR130XD and that the HPR130XD would be taken out of production in the second half of 2019. We can now provide more clarity on this timing.
We will be accepting orders on the HPR130XD® through October 31, 2019 and producing HPR130XDs through December 20th, 2019.
We have seen an enthusiastic response to the XPR170 among end users, and we are pleased to let you know that behind our mutual efforts, it is exceeding sales targets. In addition, however, we’ve seen some continuing sales of the HPR130XD due primarily to quotes that remain outstanding, as well as from a few partners who are still completing the integration process and having all their relevant sales and service personnel properly trained. For these reasons, we feel it is appropriate to continue producing the HPR130XD into December. As per our standard policy, parts and service will be provided on the HPR130XD for a minimum of 7 years after the end of production.
As we get closer to the termination process, we will send out a reminder notification, along with any more detailed information we may have concerning final order intakes and deliveries.
