Hypertherm is now rolling out PlateSaver™, a new SureCut™ technology specifically for XPR™ plasma systems. PlateSaver combines the arc stability of X-Definition plasma with specialized software parameters to dramatically increase material utilization. On average, PlateSaver, which is designed for use on mild steel at select material thicknesses and cutting amperages, improves material utilization by three percent. All partner team members—including those in sales, technical service, and marketing—are encouraged to complete our Introduction to PlateSaver training (EN506) available now through the Hypertherm Cutting Institute.
