Hypertherm’s current Echion™ and HyPrecision™ waterjet pumps will soon have a new name: DynaMAX™. In addition to the new DynaMAX name, you will see a change to the current naming convention for our model numbers. Beginning in early 2022, model numbers will begin with either a 3 or 5 depending upon the performance, feature, or technology of a particular model. This 3 or 5 prefix will be followed by the horsepower number and, for pumps engineered with our patented predictive technology, a “P” suffix. We are also aligning behind one color scheme: black. Instead of the current gray color, the panels, covers, and electrical enclosures for our HyPrecision systems will be the same black color as our Echion systems.
