Counterfeit Hypertherm consumables raid

More than ₹11 million (approx. 150K USD) in counterfeit Hypertherm consumables are now off the streets of India and two suspected counterfeiters are facing criminal charges following a nighttime raid earlier this year. The raid, Hypertherm’s largest ever and its 2nd in India, targeted a company in Haryana – Gurugam – India called Micro Weld. In all, 58 different types of Hypertherm consumables were confiscated for Powermax, MAXPRO, HPR and other popular Hypertherm systems. In addition, the raid also netted more than 11,000 counterfeit labels and packaging that would have been worth more than ₹22 million. Although Hypertherm has a dedicated team to vigorously protect its intellectual property and will pursue all legal avenues necessary to prevent the sale of counterfeit Hypertherm product, we still need your help.
