Hypertherm is stopping production of its ArcWriter system after 24 years. This decision is based on low sales volumes for the past several years which has made manufacturing, along with required safety and regulatory testing, inefficient and cost prohibitive. Hypertherm will accept orders for ArcWriter systems through September 30, 2021 with the goal of shipping all units by the end of the year, dependent on order volume and supply chain constraints.
