We recently made a design change to the coupler ring on the standard HPR main torch body, p/n 220162. The material, PEEK, remains the same, however the color changed to black. The color is now consistent with the HPRXD main torch body. We have also improved the grip design by moving from a diamond knurl to a coarse straight knurl. This change will help the operator in the assembly and disassembly of the torch from the receptacle.
We will start using the black coupler in our torch assembly the end of this month, April – 2020; product may arrive to the field as soon as mid-May. There is no change in torch performance or price.
