Effective immediately, we have removed the contact band, p/n 108094, from our XPR, HPRXD and HPR torch maintenance kits. Over time and through extensive testing of HPR and HPRXD receptacles, we found that this band rarely needs replacement and is not part of routine torch maintenance. In addition, it can be difficult to replace without damaging the band or the ID of the torch cathode.
The contact band was packaged with the bullet plugs in our torch maintenance kits. It does come installed in all XPR, HPRXD and HPR receptacles. On the rare occasion that this part does need to be replaced, they will be available and sold individually.
