Maintenance Release | EDGE® Connect CNC Software

We are pleased to announce the Phoenix CNC software maintenance release version 10.11 for EDGE Connect CNCs, to both the production line and for download via the Hypertherm.com website.

This quarterly software maintenance release contains new value-added feature enhancements and resolution to several reported field issues.

Some key highlights of this release:
• Phoenix will now default to ohmic contact Initial Height Sense (IHS) for all XPR170® and XPR300® Vented Water Injection (VWI) processes. This is a coordinated change with the Heavy Industrial system release of Control board firmware revision L.
• The current limits for Delta drives have been rescaled 3x to cover the full range set within the drive.
• The Current Limit setting for the THC can be defined on the THC Axis screen. This value will determine the maximum current or torque that can be delivered to the THC axis. The value can be set between 0 and 100% of the THC axis motor drive rating.

Please review the release notes document for important details regarding this software update, including resolutions provided and related installation procedures.
In addition to the Phoenix Suite Installer release, updates have been made to the HTML Help file, cut charts and EDGE Connect Suite Installer. Please install these updates with the Phoenix 10.11 software.
Software updates for EDGE Connect CNCs have an anticipated release at the end of each quarter. Additional interim releases are also possible based on critical field requirements. The next regularly planned version release (V10.12 Image 45) is scheduled for late June 2019.
