We released two new lead sets that are specifically designed for robotic applications where the leads are routed through the last segment of the robot arm. For this application, we needed to reduce the outside diameter of the lead set. We accomplished this by inserting all leads and hoses, along with the noise-shielding tin braid sheathing, inside a 1.2m (4’) length of our standard corrugated strain relief material. This also prevents the assembly from binding in the robot arm pass-through orifice.
Developing these specialized lead sets is part of our ongoing effort to facilitate the use of our XPR family of X-Definition products in 3D cutting applications.
