How FlushCut connects us

In remote areas transmission poles carry our telephone and power cables. Transition poles are made of steel and steel wears and needs repairing. Easy with a Powermax® and NEW FlushCut™ consumables.
Transmission poles were first used in the mid 19-th century and the current preferred repair method is Carbon Arc Gouging (CAG). Working with CAG is not something one learns quick, special training is required. In addition CAG is a noisy process and brings about a lot of fumes.
With the development of FlushCut consumables for Powermax there is a very good alternative for removing mounting brackets that are incorrectly located on the transmission poles. Replacing the brackets on the transmission poles guides the telephone and power cables correctly to the next transmission pole.
In the contrary Powermax can be used after only short 15 to 30 minute training. The FlushCut consumables technology does not only remove the mounting bracket fast, it also allows re-using the bracket because of the clean cut!
